Stephen Berkeley-White

Stephen Berkeley White Stephen trained at the Rambert Ballet School and went on to perform with many dance companies, including the Mark Bruce Company, Random, Adventures in Motion Pictures, David Massingham Dance, Red Rain Dance, Diversions,V-tol and has worked with choreographers such as Richard Alston, Christopher Bruce, Darren Ellis, Matthew Hawkins and Lloyd Newson, among others. He has also appeared in major productions at The Royal Exchange Manchester and The National Theatre. Recently Stephen has taken on a parallel career as a photographer.

Theo Clinkard

Theo Clinkard Theo is a Brighton based dance artist and designer. He has created and performed work with many of the U.K.’s leading choreographers including Siobhan Davies, Matthew Bourne, Wayne McGregor, The Featherstonehaughs, Rafael Bonachela, New Art Club, Kim Brandstrup, Aletta Collins, Laila Diallo, Ben Wright, Fin Walker, Charles Linehan, Stephen Mear and Mark Bruce. Theo co founded PROBE in 2004 with Antonia Grove and produced two evenings of work, commissioning new duets along side presenting Yasmeen Godder’s ‘i feel funny today’ and Trisha Brown’s Accumulation from 1971. Theo recently produced the dance film ‘to leap or skip, especially in an emotional manner’ with the filmmaker Mariko Montpetit and this year, will be touring a new solo created with Laila Diallo, Bgroup’s new show ‘About Around’ and Volcano Theatre’s new work ‘Shelf Life’.

Laila Diallo

Laila Diallo After dancing with Wayne McGregor’s Random Dance for 8 years, Laila has recently come to prominence for her choreographic work and received a Rayne Fellowship for Choreographers in 2006. Recent credits for theatre and opera include choreography for A Doll’s House, Theatre Royal Bath, movement direction for Therese Raquin, National Theatre and for Days of Significance, Royal Shakespeare Company. As a performer she regularly collaborates with other artists. Sense of Self, a duet co-created and performed with Montreal-based choreographer and dancer Mélanie Demers, is currently touring in Europe and Canada.

Nicole Guarino

Nicole GuarinoNicole trained at the Cisne Negro Dance Studio in Brazil. In 2003 she joined The Cisne Negro Dance Company performing works by Patrick Delcroix, Vasco Wellencamp, Mark Baldwin and Itzik Galili. In September 2004 she was a finalist at the Adeline Genee International Competition and was awarded a scholarship at The Rambert School where she graduated in 2006 with a first class honours degree, before joining the Mark Bruce Company. Nicole is currently performing with Introdans in Holland, performing works by Kylian, Matz Ek, Hans van Manen and Robert Battle, among others.

Chris Keerie

Chris Keerie Chris trained at the Karen Brook School of Dance before attending the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds. He has danced for the Mark Bruce Company, Diversions Dance Company and in Matthew Bourne’s ‘Swan Lake,’ performing various roles on international, national, and worldwide tours, including the London Sadler’s Wells season. He has also danced in Tippets ‘Midsummer Marriage’ and Tchaikovsky’s ‘Queen o f Spades’ at the Royal Opera House; Puccini’s ‘La Boheme’ with Raymond Gubbay Productions, at the Royal Albert Hall, ‘La Belle Helene’ with English National Opera and ‘Blue Beard’ in Bregenz, Austria with William Tuckett.

Pari Naderi

Pari Naderi Pari graduated from Roehampton University in 1992 and from London Contemporary Dance School in 1996. She has danced with Charles Linehan, Javier de Frutos, Gary Lambert, Colin Poole, Mark Baldwin, Snag Project, Richard Alston, Mark Bruce and most recently Siobhan Davies Dance. Pari teaches extensively and is a professional freelance photographer.

Cris Tandy

Cris Tandy Cris is from Blaenpennal, Wales and gained a first class honours degree at Laban. He has worked with the Mark Bruce Company, Boc and Vincenzi, Sara Crow & Co, Ekphorize, Double Vision, Leila McMillan, and Mano Crea tes as a freelance dancer. Cris danced for Diversions Dance Company for four years where he performed in works by various choreographers, including Stephen Petronio, Itzik Galili, Stijn Celis and Stephen Shropshire. He has also choreographed for Diversions ‘Departure Terminal’ season in 2006 and 2007. As part of NYDC he performed in works by Wayne McGregor and Sheron Wray. In 2007 Cris participated in the workshop season at Impulstanz and was awarded a training grant from the Arts Council of Wales to do so. Cris will work with Michael Parmenter in New Zealand from July to October 2008.

Shahla Tarrant

Shahla Tarrant Originally a gymnast, Shahla trained at the London Contemporary Dance School gaining a First Class (Hons) Degree and an invitation to join the postgraduate performance group, eDge. She is a freelance dancer, teacher, choreographer and a qualified yoga and Pilates instructor. Recent projects include Assistant Choreographer to Jonathan Lunn, choreographing for youth dance companies featured within the UK tour of Reading Room; and Assistant Choreographer for Castor et Pollux at the Dutch National Opera.
Whilst at L.C.D.S Shahla was a member of the National Youth Dance Company. Since graduation she has worked with a number of choreographers and dance companies including: Mark Bruce, Ingrid Wantoch von Rekowski, Sarah Fahie, Carole Meier, Liz Lea, Duncan Macfarland, Rashpal Singh Bansal, Cie Yvann Alexandre. Opera work includes Dutch National Opera, Vlaamse Opera, Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne Festival Opera and Opera North.

Alan Vincent

Alan Vincent Alan was born in Buckingham and trained at Lewisham college and London Studio Centre. He then joined AMP/New Adventures in 1997 – stage credits include The Swan/Stranger in Swan Lake, creation of the role Luca in The Carman, creation of the role of Speight in Play Without Words, the Nutcracker in Nutcracker and roles in Cinderella and Spitfire. Alan has worked for various opera companies in works such as Midsummer Marriage, Turnabout, Carmen, The Fairy Queen and Trojans. He also has worked with Jazzxchange and performed in various music videos and TV adverts. Alan joined the Mark Bruce Company for Sea Of Bones.
