Carina Howard

Carina has been a company dancer with Mark Bruce Company since 2017, performing in Macbeth, Return to Heaven, Phantoms and Frankenstein.

In 2023, Carina joined Phoenix Dance Company for their performances of Requiem in Leeds and Cape Town. During her time with Phoenix she worked with Miguel Altunaga, Christopher Bruce, Mbulelo Ndabeni, Sandrine Monin and Dane Hurst. Carina has worked as a dancer for Netflix and Warner Bros. Pictures where she continued her exploration of creature movement with Alexandra Reynolds. Other choreographers she has worked with include Gemma Payne, Ashley Bain, Arielle Smith-Jones and Mark Baldwin.

Since 2019, Carina has worked as a Creative Movement Therapist for people with Parkinson’s Disease. Carina trained at Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance where she graduated with a first class (hons) degree. Following this, she completed a masters at Northern School of Contemporary Dance with Distinction and the award for most outstanding achievement.
