Nicholas grew up in Montreal, Canada. He trained as an actor at the Oxford School of Drama and is based in London.

Prior to becoming an actor, Nicholas had a career as a contemporary dancer in Germany that spanned eight years. His dance credits include five years as a soloist with Philip Taylor’s Ballet Theatre Munich and three years with Ballett Nordhausen. He has performed works choreographed by Kim Brandstrup, Mark Bruce, Philip Taylor, Jiri Kylian, Rui Horta, Jonathon Lunn, Stefan Haufe and Henning Paar.
