...one of the most consistently thought-provoking choreographers working in Britain today. The Observer

Welcome

The company would like to extend a warm welcome to our new interim executive producer Eva Pepper who joins us from DV8.

Austrian-born, Eva has lived in the UK for more than 20 years. She currently works as a freelance producer, adviser and translator.

During Eva’s ten years as DV8 Physical Theatre’s executive producer she organised extensive tours to dance and theatre venues around the world, raised substantial co-production support and secured two rounds of Arts Council National Portfolio funding. She established the organisation’s first membership scheme and expanded DV8’s educational and digital programmes. Eva is a trustee of Norfolk and Norwich Festival and Cambridge Youth Opera.

We would like to express a huge thank you to our outgoing executive producer Nick Sweeting who is moving on to new projects.

Now On Tour

Homer’s epic poem is retold in an extraordinary dance theatre production.

The King, Odysseus, separated from his family for ten years of brutal war, faces another ten year struggle to return home as the Gods drag him on an epic journey across oceans to strange lands and the darkness beyond. Immortal beauties, shape shifters and monsters both guide and torment the king as he hurtles towards a savage and desperate reunion with his Queen.

The multi award winning company that brought you Dracula present a vision of a broken world, from faded New York pageants to islands of fantasy; brutal seas, battlefields and a gateway to Hades. Set to music ranging from Mozart to Mark Lanegan; Sacred Arias to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and an originally composed score; this Odyssey is of now - contemporary horror and fantasy splintering from ancient myth; the themes universal: how we face our mortality and the driving force of the Gods inside us.
